perks and apptrailer ip questions
Hi
I have do some research online about ip address.
Each router gives one ip address.
More than one router gives more than one ip address.
Do anyone know if we use two router in a household with different ip address would means it counts as 2 seperate household?
So that for apps like perks and apptrailers we might be able to use 5 device on one router ip address and other 5 with the other router ip address?
If that works it would help if anyone has comments or advice in how to set up please.
thanks

Two routers off the same modem (internet connection) would provide different local(internal) IP addresses but the one they are paying attention to is the external IP that is all your traffic is routed through to/from the ISP. If you wanted 2 different external IP addresses you would need to either have 2 separate service lines or if you can get one most business accounts give you the option to have multiple IP addresses and from there you could configure each router to work on a different external IP. Hope this helps.
