TheTechSlugs allows you you to earn rewards in multiple ways. By signing up, you agree to these rules in regard to good conduct in the community and of earning points for rewards:
General Forum Posting RulesDO NOT sell accounts on any money-making sites or apps. That is dangerous for the seller and the buyer.
DO NOT promote TOS violations or hacks/exploits for apps. These words are censored.
DO NOT post a naked link (a link with no explanation to it).
DO NOT post false information in an attempt to gain referrals (download this app, use my referral code, and make $5,000!).
DO NOT ask other members for phone verification with any money-making app or website. If you can\'t verify yourself, it most likely means you shouldn\'t be using it.
DO NOT post the same post more than once (we don\'t need to see your referral link five times).
DO NOT attempt to phish people by leading them to a link that does not lead them to the domain promised.
DO NOT post any false ways to make money, any scams, or any "get rich quick" schemes.
DO NOT taunt users with "secret method" posts in which you show vague transactions with no explanation as to where they came from. If you do not want to share, keep it all, including the glamour, to yourself.
DO NOT sell these "secret methods" to other users.
A failure to follow these rules could result in immediate ban without warning.
Points SystemUsers receive points for using the forum as well as other services on TheTechSlugs.
DO NOT attempt to hack and exploit the point system in any way.
DO NOT redundantly provide fake votes and/or data for TheTechSlugs archives section or voting system within TheTechSlugs Forum.
DO NOT interact with, post towards, or complain about rule-breaking posts. Simply use the report post/topic feature. These posts are not valid and will be deleted along with the rule-breaking post when taken care of.
DO NOT violate the post quality rules. See the Quality Rules for Posting on TheTechSlugs Forum outlined below.
Quality Rules for Posting on TheTechSlugs ForumPosts will be reviewed daily for relavancy to the topic at hand and helpfulness. Posts must remain of high quality and be helpful to the user asking a question. Any posts generated by the user with the sole intent of gaining points will have that post deleted and a point deduction to their balance. Users who repeatedly do not research prior to posing and posting questions on their own topics or others topics and post redundant already posted information will have stated posts deleted. Posts must stay on topic and be relevant. Users are allowed one or two posts as side conversation in a thread, but an entire thread cannot turn into a side conversation. If more than a few posts turn into side conversation as to dilute the original purpose of the post, said posts may be deleted. New topics must be created for completely new ideas. Mindless babble within a topic with little to no aim in providing helpfulness for users asking for help with little to no value at all is forbidden within the forum posting system and should be reserved for the chat on the home page. Topics posting simple and generic statements providing little to no value to other users are forbidden. Off topic and unrelated questions to the specific question at hand meant to derail the original purpose of the post will be deleted. Unless if you are the original poster, do not ask seemingly simple questions for clarification. You must provide value for the topic and not clutter it. If you are unaware of how to be helpful in a topic by either providing information or posing a thoughtful question in relation to the topic, do not post in a topic. A general rule to follow is that if you wouldn't post it without points, do not post it. Posts must have a general uniqueness to them. If your post content is searched in a search engine and appears verbatim on another website, the post is in violation. Do not revive old posts from more than 6 months ago with simple questions. You may revive old posts with unsolved problems, subjects, or statements if you have found a solution, can provide a similar example, or have something of value to add to the original poster's statement or question.
Our posting points operate on a tier system. Users will earn less as they post less characters with a hard limit of 75 posts for points per day. Users can post after 75 posts a day but will not receive points. Longer posts and topics receive more points. Users simply writing to write for points without adding more value to their topic or post will have that post or topic deleted with a point deduction. Some posts and topics are simply not meant to earn you high point values. Avoid the excessive use of pleonasms. Do not copy and paste from other posts or websites in an effort to make your character count to go up. Quote posts if you want to reference what was said. TheTechSlugs archives section is meant to help users determine apps to use based on TOS information. Users can submit corrections. Accuracy cannot be guarenteed on TheTechSlugs archives and sections are helped to be maintained by users. Users submitting invalid corrections will be ignored and will not receive a credit to their account. Users may not submit corrections outside of the selected options and may not attempt to correct offline apps. Users will receive emails provided notifications are on in their dashboard. Users may not hack any of the offers system.
