So I know Joe mentions he makes $30/month with this app. But I'm having trouble just trying to make $5. It seems like every app they have available to earn points, I've either already used in the past or it awards only 18 points. Is there some kind of trick to getting larger payouts?

Around 9 months I spent only a half an 3 hours a month using it. Points were very consistent wpback then though. I still use it. Almost at $40 this month

They are still very useful. I still use fp everyday, and I don't think I will stop

Would be better if they would add some videos sections.

Adding videos would destroy them, they are making slot of money by people installing apps, and instead people would just be watching videos and they wouldn't be making as much

Or on a forum like this. You know there should be a referral section so people can add there referrals and if new users need them then they can get a headstart, that's a good idea.
