Does anyone use TOR? How often do your accounts get banned just because they are going through TOR?

I mean the Tor Project linked above.

But also, do you often get banned by using a VPN?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tor_%28an ... network%29

Technically it is a special type of proxy and is not a VPN but for the purpose of a routine here you can think of it as a VPN or proxy.

It is a free Peer to Peer proxy. It sends your network traffic through multiple locations so you are untraceable. Because you are using multiple chained proxies and being bounced all over the world it is slow. The final bounce is called an exit node and that is the IP that will show up in any logs.

There is a public list of all exit nodes so a company could choose to scan that entire list and determine you are using a proxy.

Benefits over a VPN: Free. Larger pool of IPs/Subnets/Countries. Typically residential IPs.
Negatives: Slow. Easy to detect (easy to detect does not mean a company has actually set up detection.)
Benefits over a Free Proxy List: Much higher reliability/success rate. Often more secure.

Does anyone want to test it on a few services and post if they get paid or not?
