Share suggestions on what smartphones to buy.

What smart phone to buy (in Australia)

Hoping there are some Aussies on this forum. Looking to buy a phone/s just to run apps. Never owned a smart phone before (currently running apps on old iPad). Presume Android is the way to go. Have checked out phones on Coles, Woolworths, JB Hi Fi and eBay. I've got no idea what to buy, any suggestions?

Are the phones under $100 worth it?

The phones under $100 do the job if running vids so yes they are worth it. Try buying the LG fuels or the motorola 3rd and 4th generation

The LG/Motorola I can't buy in OZ. It would cost a lot to post them and I don't know if they work in OZ but thanks for the reply. There maybe something on the second post I can get locally. Thanks again your help is appreciated
