I have been having trouble running apptrailers on my ipad 3 which runs on ios 9.1.2. Do you need to have the latest ios version or am I doing something wrong.

If the device doesn't meet the requirements then it shouldn't even let you download the app at all, but in your case it might just be the app.

Yeah, what kind of trouble? It wouldn't be on your device if your iOS version were too low.
