Can i get some advice on what phones i can get for under $50, but still run really well in terms of making money through apps. Also should i hook up all my phones to a router for optimal earning or will it not affect anything

Check out https://www.c7recycle.com/. There's many $15-25 used phones that will work. They even have a section called "Income App Devices".

I would not get anything LESS than 1GB RAM , dual core, and Android 4.xx. Older phones tend to freeze more, and thats not something you want when you aren't always looking at your setup.

There are many prepaid phones now that are $30-35 with the same specs: quad core Snapdragon 210 CPU, 1GB RAM, Android 6.0. These phones will be butter smooth. moto e 2nd gen, moto g 2nd gen, LG Optimus zone 3, Samsung galaxy j1 that's my choices but you could find used ones or bad ESN and cracked for stupid cheap go on eBay not Amazon they mark up devices Amazon is a terrible site.
