I used this app before. Only thing I remember is you barely can make money by watching advertising. I ran wow in laptop a day to test how much I can earn a day, but income was trivial. So I asked my my friend how to maximize income, he told me the mean method was referral and be active as possible.
That was not passive at all. I don't know whether they improve it or not, but ....

You will not earn anything if you just "run the app", you actually need to use it. The same goes with referrals, if they don't use the app you won't earn any money. It's passive in the sense that you use the app for messaging and you earn a little money, and it's also passive when you have active referrals. It's not a magical app that gives you money just by having it on your device.

I dont think so that the screenshot is real. Because i haven't seen anybody posting the screenshot of their earnings from this app. And can you tell me how many days it took to earn the amount?

You are free to think what you want. Note that the app has 4,3 stars in the Google play store and there are no negative comments in the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/wowapp.official/?fref=ts . But at least with all my apps i can make 50 $ per month, which is not that bad but not that good also. It's somewhere in the middle.
