Just did a new numbering system for my phones.

I recommend you do something like this and then you can make a spreadsheet to keep inventory of what phone belongs to which name or accounts:

I know it may be expensive but I would get loads of Qi Wireless Charging Receiver which is inexpensive and plug them in the charging port of the android/ios device. Then I would get a bunch of Qi wireless charger pads and then put the phones on them. This method could help with organisation and as you have small phones you could put 2 phones on one wireless charger. Then you could number them like you said.
