LG Zone 3 Finally Rooted!
I bought a bunch of LG Zone 3 phone but could never get them rooted. I found this site https://www.smartphoneclinics.com/how-t ... -kingroot/ and followed each step and it worked.
I hope this helps you.

Update. I got the first 4 phones rooted without a problem. However the next 5 wouldn't root. It looks like the LG Zone 3 with an "Android Security Patch Level" 2015-12-01 will root but phones with a patch level later than that will not. I'm not 100% sure that is the problem but I'll let you know what I find out.
Usadream321 - A rooted phone allows you to use functions that would otherwise not be available. Joe's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ey5xjdnu5pw explains it better.
I have 15 of the LG Zone 3 devices (Verizon) and every one of them is rooted. Its easy peasy now... I rip them out of the box new and root them after 1st bootup. I have PP4 - PP8 phones. Don't need to Kingroot it or whatever... Just flash his rooted image.
I worked with Astr4y4L to test my phones and every one of them works. He wants a "donation" to help offset his time and effort.
The effort starts getting good around page 71:

A quick summary so you don't have to read the 80+ pages...
For the Kingroot kind of rooting, you need a PP1-some PP4... Other PP4 and version PP5 and above don't work with Kingroot. You need to use the image by Astr4y4l.
If you take a newer phone PP4+ and flash an older SW level (PP2 is easily available), there are differences in the display chips/drivers and the screen is unusable.
I think I bought my first Zone 3 in Dec 2016 and it as a PP5. I don't think anything newer than that is rootable with Kingroot.
